Gwalior (Madhya Pradesh) [India], July 27 : Agniveers training to serve in the Indian Armed Forces under the Agnipath Scheme praised the resolution of the Madhya Pradesh government to provide reservations in the recruitment of police and armed forces and said that it would provide a great opportunity to the youth.

Speaking to ANI, an Agniveer said, "I am really happy about this because I feel this is a good opportunity. If an Agniveer is 22 and comes back after 7 years of service, they have the chance of getting a job or even starting a business after the service."
"Earlier, the jawans recruited in the army would serve 45-60 years of age and wouldn't even have the time to look after their families. Now they can look after their families after 7 years of service. I feel this is a great decision on the part of the state government," he said.

Another youngster training as an Agniveer and for the MP police said, "Chief Minister Mohan Yadav's announcement yesterday provides a great opportunity for the youth. The CM has given a solution to all those youngsters who had doubts about their career choices after 4 years of service in the agniveer scheme."
"Apart from this, we have also been given a 10 per cent reservation in the armed forces. In MP, UP, Chhattisgarh, and Haryana, police have given reservations for Agniveers. And the Rs 10 lakh after the service will help the youngsters start a business later as well. I am satisfied with the decision," he said.
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav announced on Friday that Agniveer Jawans will receive reservations in the recruitment of police and armed forces in the state.
This announcement coincided with the 25th anniversary of Kargil Vijay Diwas.
