The Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) has been in power in the state for the last 27 years and the party is seeking its seventh term in office this year.
The counting of votes for Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh, which went to polls on Satutday, will take place on December 8.
While Congress is seeking to unseat the BJP from power, the AAP is also trying to make electoral inroads in the state.
