May 11, 2024
Jaunpur (Uttar Pradesh) [India], May 11 : Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Saturday took a dig at the Congress government and stated that the Hindu population declined due to the Congress which ruled the country for 60 years.
Dhami participated in the 'Yuva Sammelan' program organized in favour of BJP candidate Kripashankar Singh from Jaunpur parliamentary constituency in Badalpur Jaunpur.
Dhami said that the upcoming elections are not just elections to elect MPs but it is an election to choose the future of the country. He asked the youth to take a pledge to make the lotus bloom in Jaunpur Lok Sabha and make the Prime Minister the Prime Minister for the third time. He said that today the anti-national forces are working as a sleeper cell of the opposition to stop Modi ji in the name of casteism and classism.
Emphasizing the work done under PM Modi's regime, Dhami said, "Historic work has been done inside the country in the last 10 years. The country has progressed in the field of infrastructure development, science and technology. Today the youth of the country is walking shoulder to shoulder with the Prime Minister".
He emphasized that India's stance on global issues is eagerly anticipated and highlighted the nation's achievements across various domains. Modi ji's unwavering support for the youth was noted, alongside the government's implementation of numerous schemes aimed at their empowerment. Notably, India's accomplishment of constructing 100 kilometers of road within a mere 100 hours was cited as a testament to its progress and efficiency.
"Due to the Prime Minister's firm resolve and the talent and hard work of the youth, today big foreign companies want to come to India. The historic decisions have been taken in the country under the leadership of the Prime Minister. Article 370 was removed from Kashmir, CAA law has been implemented, triple talaq has also been abolished and the construction work of a grand temple of Lord Shri Ram has been done in Ayodhya," Dhami said.
"Under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi, Uttar Pradesh has become fear free, goon free, mafia free, and crime free and has moved forward on the path of development, employment and women empowerment. Today Uttar Pradesh has become Uttam Pradesh," he added.
The Chief Minister highlighted the progress made in Uttar Pradesh in recent years, noting a concerning trend of decreasing Hindu population since 1950, down by 14%, despite overall population growth.
Dhami said that the reason for the decline in Hindu population is due to the rule of the Congress Party which has been in power for the longest period of 60 years in the country.
"Due to one party and family, the population of Hindus in the country kept decreasing because they have always insulted Sanatan," Dhami stated.
"SP, Congress, BSP know that their defeat is certain. They are not going to form any government with the blessings of the public. These people are fighting elections to save their family, to hide their sins and corruption. The sins of the opposition will not be washed away even in Ganga Maiya", Dhami said.
He stated that the BJP has initiated efforts towards establishing a uniform civil code nationwide. He highlighted that under the Prime Minister's leadership, Uttarakhand has become the first state post-independence to enforce such a code. He emphasized that the principle of a uniform civil code will be disseminated from Gangotri Devbhoomi to the entire nation.
Criticizing the INDIA alliance, Dhami said, "on one side there is Prime Minister Modi, BJP which talks about development in the country and on the other side there are people of the alliance who spread lies among the people".
Reiterating BJP's stance on opposition's reservation policies, Dhami said that the Congress wants to implement the Karnataka model. In which the reservation of OBC SC ST has been given to the Muslim community.
We have to save the country from this model. No intrusion will be allowed in the reservation of ST SC OBC," Dhami said.
The Chief Minister asked the people to contribute in making the Prime Minister Modi, PM for the third term by making BJP candidate Kripashankar Singh victorious with a huge number of votes from the parliamentary constituency Jaunpur.
