"Hooda responsible for loss of Congress in Haryana": BJP State Chief Mohan Lal Badoli

New Delhi [India], October 10 : After Bharatiya Janata Party's hat trick in Haryana, the party's State president Mohan Lal Badoli on Thursday placed the blame squarely on Bhupinder Singh Hooda for the loss of the Congress party.
Badoli said, "Hooda (Bhupinder Singh Hooda) is responsible for the loss of the Congress party in Haryana. The Congress candidates will give statements. If you ask them, they will tell you what Hooda has done."
The BJP is set to form its third successive government in Haryana after it won 48 seats in the 90-member assembly as per the results announced on Tuesday. The Congress won 37 seats.
Asked about Nayab Singh Saini reprising his role as Chief Minister, the Haryana BJP Chief said, "Our national leadership will decide this...There is a possibility that it will be decided soon."
Meanwhile, three independent MLAs from Haryana, Devender Kadyan and Rajesh Joon, Savitri Jindal extended their support to the BJP on Wednesday, a day after the results of the counting of Assembly polls were declared in the state.
Haryana BJP President Mohan Lal Badoli informed media persons that the BJP now has a total of 51 MLAs in Haryana.
Yesterday, after the meeting with Election Commission of India Congress leader Bhupinder Hooda said that the ECI has assured to look into the complaints made by the party in connection with the results of the Assembly elections in the State.
The Congress delegtion has informed EC about the "discrepancies" and complaints they received about some EVMs (electronic voting machines) and demanded sealing and securing of those 'faulty' EVMs until the course of the investigation.
"We have received many complaints. The counting of votes was delayed in several places. The Election Commission has assured us that they are looking into all the complaints," Bhoopinder Singh Hooda said.
The Congress delegation which met with the Election Commission of India included KC Venugopal, Bhupinder Singh Hooda, Ashok Gehlot Pratap Singh Bajwa, Jairam Ramesh, Pawan Khera, Ajay Maken and Uday Bhan.
