Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh) [India], January 8 : Former Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Monday expressed pleasure that the Ladli Bahna Yojana would continue and money would be transferred again to the accounts of beneficiaries on coming January 10.
"I am happy that the Ladli Bahna Yojana will continue and the money will be transferred into the accounts of the Ladi Bahnas again on January 10. Ladli Bahnas will be made Lakhpati (millionaire) Bahnas and I will work continuously for that. The Chief Minister and the state government will also work in this direction," former CM Chouhan said.
Meanwhile, reacting to the consecration of Ayodhya Ram Temple, the former CM said that January 22 would be an emotional day for the country and everyone wanted to go to Ayodhya to witness those moments.
"January 22 will be an emotional day for the country and everyone wants to go to Ayodhya to witness the moments. But Prime Minister Narendra Modi has appealed that everyone should not go to Ayodhya, there will be a huge crowd, in such a situation, people should go to worship later in order to maintain the arrangements," he added.
The former CM further said that he would worship Lord Ram in Orchha (in Niwari district and he would witness the moment from there. A Deepotsav program will also be organised there in the evening.
"We are fortunate that Ramlala is going to reside in the temple in front of us. Ramrajya has also started and on that day we will also wish to become a Vishwa Guru," he added.
Besides, Chouhan also shared his past experience saying what a critical time it was when the Uttar Pradesh government-led by Mulayam Singh Yadav had made such arrangements to stop people from entering the border of the state in its own country as if people were going to another country.
"We tried to enter the state and we were caught. After that we were sent to jail in Jaunpur and stayed there for eight days. We used to cheer people up there. After being released from jail, we went to Ayodhya and resolved to build a temple there," he added.
Notably, preparations are underway in full swing for the Ram Temple 'Pran Pratishtha' on January 22, which will draw dignitaries and people from all walks of life. The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirth Kshetra Trust has decided to enthrone Ram Lalla at the sanctum-sanctorum of the Ram Temple at noon on January 22.
