"Investments will strengthen Madhya Pradesh, contribute to country's GDP": CM Mohan Yadav

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh) [India], July 13 : Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav said that the state government welcomes industrialists and with investment, the state would become economically strong, through which the state would move forward with the full potential to increase the GDP of the country.
CM Yadav made the remark while addressing leading industrialists from various sectors in an interactive session on investment opportunities in Madhya Pradesh at Hotel Taj Mahal in Mumbai on Saturday.
The industrialists were invited to the interactive session to make "Invest Madhya Pradesh-Global Investor Summit-2025" a success. GIS-2025 is proposed to be organised in Bhopal in February next year.
"Investments are being made continuously in Madhya Pradesh. A favourable environment has been created for investment in the state from the point of view of industry, trade, and business. There is immense investment potential in all sectors like energy, tourism, health, mining, etc. The state government has also made adequate provisions in the budget to encourage industry and trade. Focusing on the conditions and characteristics of different areas of the state, it has also been decided to hold industrial summits in different areas," CM Yadav said.
"The Madhya Pradesh government welcomes industrialists. With investment, the state will become economically strong and people will also get employment in the areas where investment will be made. With this, we will move forward with our full potential to increase the GDP of the country," he added.
Referring to Ranmukteshwar Mahadev and Samrat Vikramaditya, the chief minister further said that the powerful governance was envisaged in Indian culture. It was believed that the spirit of governance should be noble. There must not be narrowness in the approach of governance.
"According to Indian culture, the government aims to make all the citizens prosperous and happy by establishing good governance. The Madhya Pradesh government is continuously making efforts in this direction under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. PM Modi has made the country the fifth largest economy in the world by improving all the systems in a short time. Now under his leadership, we are moving toward the goal of becoming the third largest economy in the world," he added.
CM Yadav also held a round table meeting and one-to-one discussion with industrialists on the occasion. A film focusing on industrial investment opportunities and main tourist destinations in Madhya Pradesh was also screened.
