New Delhi [India], November 23 : Bharatiya Janata Party leader Giriraj Singh on Thursday thanked Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for the investigation on 'Halal Products' and said that India is not in Pakistan that Islamic Law will prevail here.
Earlier, the UP government, in a decisive step against the illegal issuance of 'Halal Certificates', came out with an order forbidding the production, storage, distribution, and sale of food products with Halal certification with immediate effect.
Giriraj Singh told ANI "I feel that in the name of 'Halal' products, the 'Islamikaran' of the markets in the country is happening. The Jizya tax is being collected. I would like to thank the Yogi government for starting the investigation on this. I said to Bihar's CM that you gave too much knowledge in Vidhan Sabha, now put control on this too, so that there is peace in Bihar. Is India in Pakistan, that Islamic law will prevail here? Congress and INDI Alliance have promoted this law for the sake of votes."
According to the official release, strict legal measures will be implemented against any individual or firm engaged in the production, storage, distribution, buying, and selling of Halal-certified medicines, medical devices, and cosmetics within Uttar Pradesh. However, products manufactured for export will not be subject to the restrictions.
Further speaking on Rahul Gandhi's derogatory remarks about PM Modi in his rallies, Giriraj Singh said that the Congress is in frustration and the public will give a befitting reply to it.
"He (Rahul Gandhi) is very knowledgeable. He said that when we bought the shirt, the money went to Adani. which formula is this? Whenever Congress and Gandhi's family abused the PM, the public responded to them. If PM is called Panauti then the public will take account of every penny of it. Congress is in frustration. Gandhis feel that their family is the only family who could assert its authority over India," Giriraj Singh said.
