Israel Defense Forces Chief of Staff reviews northern border

Tel Aviv [Israel], July 18 (ANI/TPS): Israel Defense Forces Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Herzi Halevi toured the Galil formation sector (91 – part of the IDF northern command) Monday evening, together with the commander of the Northern Command, Major General Uri Gordin, the commander of the “Galil” formation, Brigadier General Shai Klafer and the various brigade commanders.
The Chief of Staff held a situational assessment with the commanders, during which he was shown the activity of the IDF forces at the northern border, including the reinforcement of the forces. The Chief of Staff referred to the readiness and vigilance of the forces, and the importance of maintaining the daily lives of the residents of the north. (ANI/TPS)
