Jay Shah meets Dubai Crown Prince in Mumbai

Dubai [UAE], April 9 : International Cricket Council (ICC) chairman Jay Shah on Tuesday met Dubai Crown Prince Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum, in Mumbai. India's Test and ODI skipper Rohit Sharma, right-hand batter Suryakumar Yadav and all-rounder Hardik Pandya were also present.
The three players are representing Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025.
Jay Shah said these moments typify the uniting influence of cricket worldwide.
"Delighted to help connect cricket with visionary leadership in Mumbai, where it was a true honour to meet His Highness @HamdanMohammed with @ImRo45, @hardikpandya7, and @surya_14kumar. These moments typify the uniting influence of cricket worldwide," the ICC chairman wrote in his post on X.

Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Al Maktoum, who is also Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister of UAE is on a two-day visit to India from April 8. This is the first official visit of His Highness to India as the Crown Prince of Dubai. He will be accompanied by several Ministers, senior government officials and a high level business delegation.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi hosted the visiting leader for a working lunch on Tuesday. The Dubai Crown Prince also met External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh.
During his visit to Mumbai, the visiting leader participated in a business roundtable with prominent business leaders from both sides. The interaction strengthened India - UAE economic and commercial cooperation across traditional and futuristic areas.
