Garhwa (Jharkhand) [India], November 4 : Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday accused the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha, Rashtriya Janata Dal and Congress of supporting illegal Bangladeshi immigrants for vote bank politics.
Addressing a public rally in Garhwa, Jharkhand PM Modi said, "The policy of appeasement has reached its peak. These (JMM-RJD-Congress) three parties are determined to break social harmony. These three parties support illegal immigrants. To gain the votes of Bangladeshi infiltrators, they are settling these immigrants all over Jharkhand."
He further alleged that the Jharkhand government has become enslaved by the mafia and urged the people to vote for BJP to "harm the mafia system made by JMM-RJD-Congress."
"Jharkhand govt has become enslaved by the mafia. The people are being forced to migrate. Your every vote will harm the mafia system made by JMM-RJD-Congress here," PM Modi said.
PM Modi stated that the BJP will transparently fill 3 lakh government posts in Jharkhand if they are voted to power.
"After BJP forms govt in Jharkhand, 3 lakh govt posts will be filled in a transparent manner," PM Modi said.
He stated that the BJP in Jharkhand has resolved to build 2.1 million new houses for the poor people of the state.
"During the Lok Sabha elections, I gave the guarantee of constructing 3 crore new houses countrywide. Now, BJP Jharkhand has also resolved to build 21 lakh new houses. Every poor person should have a house, this is BJP's guarantee," he said.
PM Modi also urged the people not to listen to rumours spread by JMM saying, "These days there is a huge business of spreading rumours, but you should not believe any such rumour. When I implemented PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi in 2018, JMM here lied saying that one should not associate themselves with this scheme citing that Modi will take back the money you are getting today."
The Jharkhand Assembly elections are set to be held in two phases on November 13 and 20, with vote counting scheduled for November 23. In the previous assembly election, Jharkhand Mukti Morcha won 30 seats, the BJP won 25 and Congress won 16 seats.
