JP Nadda to visit Kerala on July 9 for state BJP executive meeting

New Delhi [India], July 8 : BJP national president JP Nadda will visit Kerala on Tuesday and take part in an expanded executive meeting of the state BJP in Thiruvananthapuram in the evening.
The BJP chief will also attend another crucial meeting with state party leaders. This visit marks BJP's National President's first visit to Kerala following the Lok Sabha elections.
It is noteworthy that in the recent Lok Sabha elections, BJP not only opened its seat tally in Kerala but also increased its vote share significantly. The party made gains in nearly a dozen assembly constituencies and contested directly on several Lok Sabha seats, including Thiruvananthapuram and Pathanamthitta. From an organizational standpoint, BJP National President Jagat Prakash Nadda's visit to Kerala has been considered highly significant.
Nadda will arrive in Thiruvananthapuram tomorrow at 11:40 AM, where he will receive a grand welcome from senior party officials. Following his arrival, at 12:20 PM, he will participate in an important organisational meeting in Thiruvananthapuram.
Nadda will reach the Girideepam Convention Center in Thiruvananthapuram at 3:55 PM, where he will address the extended executive meeting of the Kerala BJP. Following this, he will conduct another important meeting with senior party leaders of the state at the same venue.
The Bharatiya Janata Party has opened its account in Kerala in Lok Sabha elections for the first time with actor-politician Suresh Gopi winning from the Thrissur Lok Sabha seat by more than 72,000 votes.
Earlier on Friday, Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha expressed confidence in the BJP's success and said that the party will expand its presence in West Bengal and Kerala as the people's confidence has grown in the party.
Saha said that the BJP is poised to expand its governance to West Bengal and Kerala, as public confidence in the party continues to grow due to its commitment to development.
