Mandsaur (Madhya Pradesh) [India], November 3 : Union Minister and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate for upcoming Madhya Pradesh assembly polls, Narendra Singh Tomar has taken a potshot at former CM Kamal Nath saying he (Nath) is only trying to mislead the public.
Tomar made the remark while talking to the reporters in Madhya Pradesh's Mandsaur district on Friday.
"Kamal Nath has nothing to say. He should tell what he had done during his 15-month rule in the state after the 2018 assembly polls. He should tell what his government (Congress) did before 2003 in the state and before 2014 in the Centre. He has nothing to say and he is only trying to mislead the public," Tomar said.
Union minister Tomar is in fray for forthcoming state assembly polls scheduled to be held this month from Dimani assembly seat in Morena district from the Bharatiya Janata Party.
Earlier in the morning, Kamal Nath also addressed an election rally in the district and alleged that the state BJP government ruined the state.
"I want to ask what is the condition of our state today? This Chaupat Pradesh (ruined state), ruined health system, ruined education system, ruined agricultural system, ruined industries, ruined economy, ruined ration system and ruined nutrition system, its picture is in front of everyone as to what kind of ruined government is running in the state," Nath said.
Today, the commission and scams have been developed in the state. Every individual in the entire state is either a victim to corruption or a witness to corruption, the Congress leader said.
