"Aap desi Johnny Depp ho aapko kuch nahi hone denge (You are local Johnny Depp, won't let anything happen to you)," Kangana Ranaut said in a post on X.
Notably, Depp, 59, sued Amber Heard for USD 50 million in 2019, claiming she lied about him abusing her only to obtain more money in their divorce settlement. One year later, his ex-wife countersued him for USD 100 million. The trial ended in June 2022 with the court ordering Heard to pay Depp USD 10 million in compensatory damages plus USD 350,000 in punitive damages for defaming the "Cry Baby" actor in a 2018 op-ed piece she wrote for The Washington Post.
Kangana Ranaut was replying to a post by Ajeet Bharti where he said, "It was a bit of a moe-moe moment for me that yesterday I had written that BJP never stood by me and today I got calls from both HMO and PMO that the issue is in their knowledge and every activity is being monitored."

"Apart from this, some ministers and senior officials also called. It would be better if this FIR-baazi stops, if it continues then no one is going to stop it. I have nothing to say except gratitude. Even those with whom I have disagreements wrote on Twitter. Apart from this...everyone wrote for me and raised their voice. Thanks to everyone," he added in the post.
As per one of the X users, an FIR has been registered against Ajeet Bharti in Bengaluru for spreading fake communal propaganda using the name of Rahul Gandhi Ji under sections 153A and 505 (2) of IPC 1860.
The FIR was filed following a complaint by BK Bopanna, legal cell secretary of the ruling Congress in Karnataka. Bopanna's complaint cited a video posted by Bharti on X on June 13.
