"This is an election which decides the future of our country and the people of this country have a full understanding of that fact. We are seeking a continuation of the corruption-free good governance of PM Narendra Modi for the last 10 years. People have decided to give a continuation to the corruption-free good governance of PM Narendra Modi. I am sure that the people of Attingal constituency also will be with the country's mood. As regards Kerala, it has received benefits of the Central Government many times more than what it used to receive till 2014, so that is additional factor that will be in the minds of Kerala when they come to vote," Union Minister & BJP candidate from Attingal, V Muraleedharan said.
Training guns at the Pinarayi Vijayan government, Muraleedharan said, "This will be an opportunity for the people of Kerala to cast their vote against the misrule of the Kerala Govt which has been there for the last eight years. I am sure they will utilise it for that. This will be a new history that will be made in Kerala".
Union Minister of State for External Affairs V Muraleedharan will contest against Congress candidate Adoor Prakash and CPI(M) candidate V Joy from the Attingal Lok Sabha constituency.
In the 2019 General elections, the Attingal Lok Sabha seat was secured by Congress leader Adoor Prakash who won against CPI(M) leader Anirudhan Sampath and BJP's Sobha Surendran.
