Met office predicts cold weather to start in last week of November in Madhya Pradesh

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh) [India], November 5 : As November arrives and nature begins its transformation, the citizens perpare for the embrace of winter. The Meteorological office has, however, predicted that the cold will strike in Madhya Pradesh from the last week of this month.
The regional meteorologist has claimed that the mercury is not dipping sharply and dry weather continues in the state for the time being.
"The temperature is not getting down suddenly. Dry weather continues in the state and the minimum temperature in the state capital Bhopal was recorded 16.6 degree celsius while maximum 33 degrees in the last 24 hours. A downfall in the temperature by two to three degrees can be seen in the coming time from the third week of November," said Mahendra Kumar, meteorologist, IMD Bhopal.
He further added that the mercury would further dip by three to four degrees in the fourth week of November.
"There is a possibility of the temperature to further decrease by three to four degrees in the fourth week of November. Thereafter, the citizens will feel the cold weather from the last week of November in the state," the meteorologist added.
He further added that the lowest temperature in the state was recorded in Pachmarhi of 12.2 degree celsius in the last 24 hours.
According to the met office, the maximum temperature was recorded 35 degrees in Narmadapuram in the state in the last 24 hours.
Additionally, the maximum temperature across the state remained above 30 degrees with Guna, Khajuraho, Ratlam, Ujjain recorded above 34 degree celsius. Only Pachmarhi and Malanjkhand (in Balaghat district) observed 27.2 and 27.8 degree celsius respectively.
Similarly, the minimum temperature across the state was recorded between 15 degrees to 20 degrees in the last 24 hours except Pachmarhi and Mandal which observed 12.2 and 13.5 degrees respectively.
