New Delhi [India], June 20 : Aam Admi Party leaders said on Thursday that the decision of the court to grant bail to Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is a "milestone for the whole country" and a "historic verdict."
"Rouse Avenue Court granting bail to CM Arvind Kejriwal is a milestone for the whole country. This decision will become a big example in our legal system. In PMLA, most people get relief only from the Supreme Court...Usually, lower courts never give relief...So it is evident that the central government has no proof in this case...," Delhi Minister Saurabh Bhardwaj told ANI.
AAP leader Durgesh Pathak told reporters, "This is a very happy occasion. I congratulate all the people. I can say only one thing: the truth can be hidden but not defeated. I thank the court."
AAP National Spokesperson Priyanka Kakkar termed the decision a historic verdict.
"...This case is completely fake; the whole case has been written in the BJP office. We are very grateful to the court for giving a historic verdict. Regular bail in a PMLA case is nothing less than an acquittal...," Kakkar told ANI.
