Ministry of Mines celebrates success in Special Campaign 3.0 with over 95 per cent public grievances resolved in first week

New Delhi [India], October 10 : The Ministry of Mines and its field formations, along with Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSEs), have achieved significant milestones in their Special Campaign 3.0.
This campaign is aimed at addressing pending matters, streamlining rules and processes, improving records management, resolving public grievances, and enhancing workplace experiences in their offices, read the Ministry of Mines press release.
Commenced on October 2, Special Campaign 3.0 has made remarkable progress.
The Ministry of Mines achieved 100 per cent target in easing rules and procedures by amending 27 Rules, including the decriminalization of certain aspects of the Atomic Mineral Concession Rules, 2016.
In a particularly commendable feat, the Ministry has resolved 95.45 per cent of pending public grievances during the first week of the campaign, showcasing their dedication to addressing concerns and providing timely solutions.
Furthermore, 52 per cent of the earmarked task for records management has been successfully completed. Notably, the Ministry has achieved 43 per cent of its goal to weed out physical files, resulting in the liberation of approximately 9212 square feet of office space for more productive purposes, read the press release.
Additionally, the Ministry of Mines has conducted 103 out of the planned 344 cleanliness campaigns throughout the country, demonstrating a strong commitment to cleanliness and organization within its operations.
The Ministry is determined to achieve a 100 per cent success rate in these cleanliness campaigns during the campaign phase, read the release.
Special Campaign 3.0 represents a concerted effort by the Ministry of Mines and its affiliated organizations to enhance efficiency, transparency, and public service delivery.
