MP CM Mohan Yadav inaugurates 'PM Shri Tourism Air Service' from Bhopal Airport

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh) [India], June 13 : Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav inaugurated 'PM Shri Tourism Air Service' from Raja Bhoj International Airport in the state capital Bhopal on Thursday.
CM Yadav told reporters, "We are starting this facility in Bhopal to connect big cities, especially Singrauli, Jabalpur, Rewa, Gwalior. Today, we have inaugurated the first flight and held a program to see off the passengers. We have also started an air ambulance facility in the state to assist patients."
He said that it was a big day for common passengers, and they could take advantage of this facility by booking the flight.
"Today is also a big day because if a common passenger needs to travel somewhere in the state, he can take advantage of this facility by booking the flight. Till now people used to travel only by railway and road, apart from that now this third route is open," the CM said.
"I want to congratulate the people of the state for such a good initiative in the state. I would like to say that Madhya Pradesh is the only state in the country which is providing all three types of transport facilities. This facility is going to increase religious tourism in the state and the common people will also get convenience through air taxi," the MP CM said.
CM Yadav further hoped that it would also bring new employment opportunities in the time ahead.
Madhya Pradesh Tourism in partnership with M/s Jet Serve Aviation Private Limited under the PPP mode brought the 'PM Shri Tourism Air Service' to promote tourism in the state. It will connect eight cities within the state namely Bhopal, Indore, Jabalpur, Rewa, Ujjain, Gwalior, Singrauli, and Khajuraho.
To facilitate online ticket booking, a Flyola website has been developed and it was launched by the chief minister at a meeting held in Mantralaya on Tuesday, June 11.
Earlier, Principal Secretary of Tourism and Culture, Sheo Shekhar Shukla said, "The PM Shri Tourism Air Service, operated by Madhya Pradesh Tourism in partnership with M/s Jet Serve Aviation Private Limited under the PPP mode, will connect eight cities within the state which include Bhopal, Indore, Jabalpur, Rewa, Ujjain, Gwalior, Singrauli, and Khajuraho. It is scheduled to commence on June 13, the service's inaugural flights will depart from Bhopal, Jabalpur, Rewa, and Singrauli."
Gwalior will join the network on June 15, followed by Ujjain on June 16. The air service will utilise two aircraft with six passenger seats each. Tourists can access the flight schedules and fare details on www.flyola.in. Booking counters are being established at the airports in Indore, Bhopal, and Jabalpur for reservations, he added.
