"MP Govt continuously working on industrialisation," says CM Mohan Yadav before leaving for Japan

New Delhi [India], January 27 : Before leaving for his four-day Japan visit to attract investments, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Monday said that the state government was continuously working on the issues of industrialisation under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He will also invite industrialists to participate in the Global Investors Summit in Bhopal.
The CM also stressed that the state received investment proposals of over Rs 4 lakh crores through the Regional Industry Conclaves held in the state so far and employment opportunities for around 3 lakh people would be generated.
"Under the leadership of PM Modi, the Madhya Pradesh government is continuously working on the issues of industrialisation. We have organised Regional Industry Conclaves in various divisions in the state, due to which we have received investment proposals of Rs 4 lakh crores and employment opportunities for more than 3 lakh people will be generated," CM Yadav told ANI.
Global Investors Summit (GIS) is scheduled to be held in Madhya Pradesh's capital Bhopal next month on February 24-25. PM Modi will inaugurate the event.
"We are inviting industrialists to participate in the summit from across the globe. Madhya Pradesh has a very good investment environment. Earlier, I visited Germany and England, now I am going on a four-day visit to Japan. I will go to three different cities there and will hold discussions with the investors. We will make Japan a partner in the Global Investor Summit," CM said.
"I am happy that with this adaptability, the youth will not only get employment but also the state will become financially prosperous," he added.
CM Mohan Yadav is going on a four-day Japan visit on Monday seeking investment opportunities and to invite industrialists for the Global Investors Summit (GIS) to be held Bhopal on February 24-25.
According to the official release, CM Yadav will reach Tokyo in the early hours of Tuesday (January 28).
On January 28 morning, he will hold a meeting with the Ambassador of India to Japan, Sibi George at his residence and then will offer floral tribute to Mahatma Gandhi statue at Mahatma Gandhi Park in Edogawa city.
After that he will attend a 'Celebrating India-Japan Relationship: Madhya Pradesh' program organized at the Indian Embassy and hold a discussion with industrialists on the possibilities of investment and partnership. Additionally, he will have one-to-one meetings with industrialists as well on the occasion.
On January 29, CM Yadav will again hold a one-to-one discussion with investors and industrialists in the morning, followed by meetings with prominent industrialists and organizations of Japan. After that, the Chief Minister will also visit the tourist places of Tokyo.
Furthermore, the CM will visit Kobe and Osaka cities on January 30 and hold discussions with officials of some prominent industries. He will also participate in the interactive session on "Investment opportunities in Madhya Pradesh" in Osaka.
On the next day, January 31, the Chief Minister will participate in the G2G (Govt. to Govt) and B2G (Businessman to Govt) meetings and then leave for Kyoto from Osaka. He will visit various sites in Kyoto to learn about the cultural and industrial progress of Japan. He then will reach Tokyo in the evening and will leave for India in the early hours of February 1.
During the visit, CM Yadav will highlight the initiatives promoting investment, innovation and sustainable development in Madhya Pradesh.
Japan will participate as 'Partner Country' in 'Invest Madhya Pradesh - Global Investors Summit 2025'
