MP: Met office issues alert for heavy rainfall in 22 districts for tomorrow

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh) [India], July 2 : The meteorological office has issued an alert for heavy rainfall in about 22 districts in Madhya Pradesh for Wednesday (July 3).
The Met Office also said that the temperature recorded a decline in the state right now. The temperature in the entire state recorded around 30 to 32 degree Celsius and the conditions were likely to remain the same as of now.
"A trough line is passing from South Gujarat to Central Madhya Pradesh due to which a lot of moisture is arriving. Another trough line is passing from Punjab to Mizoram which is going through Uttar Pradesh. Due to all these systems, good rain is expected in the state but no heavy rainfall alert has been issued today," said V S Yadav, meteorologist, IMD Bhopal.
"But if we talk about July 3, then an alert of heavy rainfall has been issued in about 22 districts in the state where the rainfall can be recorded from 64.5 mm to 115.5 mm,"
He further said, "If we talk about the temperature, then the temperature has reduced in the state right now. The temperature in the entire state is recorded around 30 to 32 degree celsius and similar conditions are likely to remain in the state."
According to the Met Office, moderate rain with lightning is likely to continue over Betul, Pandhurna, Seoni and South Balaghat districts in the forenoon hours.
Similarly, light rain is likely to occur in Khandwa, Shajapur, Narmadapuram, Dewas, Dhar, Indore, Khargone, Burhanpur, Barwani, Mandla and South Jabalpur district in the forenoon hours.
