"No demands, it's up to CM to decide": SBSP chief OP Rajbhar on UP cabinet expansion

Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) [India], March 5 : Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SBSP) chief OP Rajbhar on Tuesday reacted to possibility of the cabinet expansion in Uttar Pradesh and said that he has no demands adding that it is up to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to decide which department needs to be given to whom.
"We have not received any official information from the Raj Bhawan or the CMO. We have only got news that there will be an oath-taking ceremony at 5 pm. We have no demands. It is up to the CM to decide which department needs to be given to whom," the SBSP chief told ANI.
The Yogi Adityanath Cabinet in Uttar Pradesh is likely to be expanded on Tuesday at around 5 pm which has been due for a long time.
The SBSP (Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party) fought the 2022 UP Assembly elections in alliance with the Samajwadi Party (SP) but the relationship soured later.
OP Rajbhar joined the BJP-led NDA in July last year. His party holds six seats in Uttar Pradesh out of the total 403.
Ahead of the Lok Sabha elections, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will hold a cabinet meeting at Lok Bhawan in Lucknow.
In the Cabinet meeting over 21 proposals are likely to be discussed and are expected to be approved.
The proposal will also be made for Lucknow Metro in two phases, to provide free electricity to private tube wells will cost Rs 2400 crore and likely get approved.
Meanwhile, the proposal of Rs 18624 crore will be approved for the establishment of the Anpara E Thermal Project and the proposal for exemption in the registration fee and stamp duty for the execution of the mortgage deed to Neyveli Power.
Moreover, the cabinet may approve the proposal of the ordinance to develop the state capital region, SCR will be formed by merging Lucknow Hardoi Sitapur Unnao Rae Bareli Barabanki and the proposal to run metro rail from Charbagh to Basant Kunj in Lucknow may also get approval.
The Lok Sabha polls are expected to be held in April-May this year.
