One coach of passenger train derails in UP's Saharanpur

Saharanpur (Uttar Pradesh) [India], August 4 : A coach of the Delhi-Saharanpur passenger train derailed on Sunday in Uttar Pradesh's Saharanpur.
Senior DCM (Divisional Commercial Manager) Ambala, Naveen Kumar said that there was no impact on any other train movement.
"I would to clarify the news that is being circulated in Saharanpur. The train was moving towards the yard after its termination. One coach if the passenger train has derailed in the yard. It has no impact on any other train movement," Kumar said.
Earlier, at least seven coaches of a goods train derailed between Ghaziabad and Moradabad section in Uttar Pradesh, railway officials said.
According to the officials, the goods train derailed in the Amroha yard of UP's Moradabad district.
The officials said that the alternative route between Moradabad-Saharanpur-Meerut-Ghaziabad is open for train movement.
No loss of life was reported in the incident, Amroha police said.
Meanwhile, Congress leader and Lok Sabha MP Gaurav Gogoi on Friday demanded resignation from the Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw for not taking moral responsibility for train accidents and called him the "derailment minister."
"He (Ashwini Vaishnaw) is 'derailment minister', how many trains have been derailed in the last two years? In the last two months, 4 goods trains have been derailed. He should have resigned taking moral responsibility for about 300 people's deaths in the Balasore incident," Gogoi told ANI.
On Thursday, the Union Railway Minister responded to opposition criticisms and said that the government doesn't make reels rather it works hard.
He said, "We are not the people who make reels, we do hard work unlike you people who make reels to show off."
