Agartala (Tripura) [India], September 16 : Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath underscored the importance of integrating cultural heritage with national defence, emphasising that both are essential for a secure and prosperous nation.
Drawing inspiration from Lord Krishna's 'Murli' and 'Sudarshan', CM Yogi said, "Today, we all are efficiently working for 'Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat'...Whenever we reminisce about Lord Krishna, we can see that in the one hand, he has 'Murli' and on the other hand, he has 'Sudarshan'. Only 'Murli' will be of no good, 'Sudarshan' is also needed for the security."
While addressing an event in Agartala, CM Yogi said that the double-engine government of Tripura is working at double speed for the development of the state.
"This is an important moment for us, where we gathered for the inauguration of Siddheshwari temple and to reminisce the memories of saint Shri Shantikali Maharaj...On one side, the double-engine government is working on the development of Tripura. On the other side, it is also working for the progress in the religious aspect...If you protect the 'Dharma', it will protect you," he said.
Hitting out at the opposition, CM Yogi said that the Congress accepted the partition of the country for its selfish interests.
"RSS knew that if we followed Congress' treaty, they would divide the nation, genocide Hindus and destroy the ethnic traditions of our country. Congress accepted the partition of the country for its own selfish interests," he said.
He further called Pakistan a 'cancer' and said that the world forces will have to come together to treat this.
"Pakistan is a cancer and until it is treated, we cannot resolve the problems. Now, PoK is demanding to be free and be a part of India again...Pakistan is a cancer of humanity too. The world forces will have to come together to treat this in time," he said.
Yogi Adityanath participated in the program organised for the inauguration and consecration of Siddheshwari Temple in the western region of Tripura state.
