Only teachers can change remotest village into a top-notch one: Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel

Gandhinagar (Gujarat) [India], August 5 : Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel on Monday said that only teachers can do the herculean task of transforming even the remotest village of the state into a top-notch village of the state.
CM Patel said this while addressing the Chief Minister and Education Ministers' Greeting Ceremony organized by All India Rashtriya Shikshak Mahasangh (ABRSM) and Mukhya Shikshak Shikshak Mahasangh of Gujarat at Dabhoda in Gandhinagar on Monday.
Applauding the teachers, CM Patel said that due to their excellent efforts, the dropout ratio in schools has come down in the entire state today. The students studying in the remote villages of the state are bringing awards in sports and other fields at the national and state level, for which the entire credit goes to the teachers.
Citing the phrase "Kankar Se Shankar Banana", Gujarat CM said that only teachers can do this magical work. He added that the teachers in Gujarat visit the student's house if the child is absent for more than two days, which itself highlights the dedication of the teachers towards education.
He said that the teachers lay the foundation for building a golden future for the children by giving them the right direction.
Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel added that there is a great sense of respect towards teachers in our society and they have to work more in the field of education to make this sense of respect in society more reverent.
The Chief Minister asserted that we all have to work together to fulfill the vision of 'Vikshit Bharat' by the year 2047 in order to make a bright future for students of the state.
Addressing the function, Education Minister Kuberbhai Dindor said that all problems of teachers haven't been solved, yet a new step has been taken in that regard. He said that these associations (All India Rashtriya Shikshak Mahasangh (ABRSM) and Mukhya Shikshak Shikshak Mahasangh of Gujarat) are working with the noble ideas of 'education in the interest of the nation, teacher in the interest of education and time in the interest of the teacher'. This is the reason why teachers have become respectable and revered all over the world.
He said that to honor the work of teachers who are working to give a new direction to society, rules have been made by this government to solve the pending problems of the teachers for the last few years. Due to these rules, immense joy is visible on the faces of all the teachers today.
Minister of State for Education Praful Pansheriya said that teachers are doing the work of building social and human life. Today, the decision taken by the state government in the interest of teachers will give energy to teachers to do their work towards education with more devotion. The society and culture that has worshipped knowledge, only has been able to maintain its existence for years. We have got the legacy of such a grand Indian culture.
Pansheriya further added that its teachers' duty to give a new direction to the education sector which will further lay the foundation of 'Vikshit Bharat' by the year 2047. He added that today education is being imparted through 350 smart classes in the state of Gujarat, while in the century of knowledge, about 25 thousand computer labs have been built in the state to provide computer lab facilities to the children studying in remote villages.
On this occasion, in his welcome address, the President of All India Educational Federation, Bhikhabhai Patel said that under the rule of Patel's government, a huge problem of the head teachers of HTAT has been resolved in a cordial manner. Now there is no problem left for this union.
He also expressed his gratitude to Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, Education Minister Kuberbhai Dindor, and Minister of State for Education Praful Pansheriya.
At the end of the program, the General Secretary of Acharya HTAT Teachers Federation, Dr. Haresh Rajyaguru expressed his gratitude.
