Parliament likely to be adjourned sine die on Wednesday

New Delhi [India], September 22 : The monsoon session of parliament is likely to end on Wednesday after pending legislations are passed, sources said.
They said both Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha are likely is to be adjourned sine die tomorrow.
The sources said that Rajya Sabha is expected to take up pending bills and is likely to function beyond its allotted time on Wednesday as members retiring in the next few months will give their speeches.
A meeting of BAC was held on Tuesday which was boycotted by members of opposition. The opposition members also boycotted the proceedings on Tuesday after speech by Leader of Opposition Ghulam Nabi Azad.
Eight opposition members were suspended on Monday from the House over unruly scenes in the House on Sunday during passage of agriculture bills.
The Lok Sabha, which has passed several bills, is expected to take up discussion on National Education Policy on Wednesday.
The session, began on September 14 with precautions against COVID-19, is scheduled to end on October 1.
