Saraikela Kharsawan (Jharkhand) [India], October 25 : Former Union Minister and ex-Jharkhand Chief Minister Arjun Munda expressed confidence that the NDA would form a government in Jharkhand state and as the people were discontented with the current government.
Arjun Munda said, "Today, the massive public turnout I am witnessing reflects the people's discontent with the current government. The people of Jharkhand are angry with the current government. The BJP will win in all the regions of Jharkhand and we will form the government. The current government has formed an alliance with Congress which did not allow to fulfill the dreams of Jharkhand state for 70 years. The current government has made the state of Jharkhand a place of loot. NDA will win convincingly."
He further said that the INDIA alliance can do anything for the sake of power.
"As for the alliance, what can be said? Those who once said Jharkhand would be formed over their dead bodies are now with the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM). This means that, for the sake of power, they can do anything," he further added.
Earlier former Jharkhand Chief Minister Champai Soren on Friday filed his nomination as BJP candidate from Saraikella and said that the Congress and its alliance have no existence in Jharkhand and that they don't stand anywhere in the elections.
"...Not only in Jharkhand, there is a BJP wave across the country. Nobody will be able to stop this wave. Alliance with Congress has no existence in Jharkhand and they stand nowhere in these elections," said Champai Soren.
