"People are frustrated": BJP's RP Singh accuses AAP of unfulfilled promises

New Delhi [India], January 20 : Bharatiya Janata Party leader RP Singh hit out at the Aam Aadmi Party for not fulfilling their promises in the ten years the party has been in power in the national capital.
"The public of New Delhi Assembly seat is asking questions to them (AAP). The public asks about the promises that they (AAP) have made... They have not fulfilled their promises. The people there are frustrated," Singh told ANI.
He further accused AAP of branding any person who asks about the promises as a 'goon or political activist.'
Meanwhile, BJP leader and former AAP Minister Kailash Gahlot also echoed the sentiment of frustration over unfulfilled promises, and expressed confidence in the party winning the assembly election, saying that even former CM Arvind Kejriwal understands that AAP will lose elections.
"BJP will be coming into power in Delhi this time. People are disappointed that the promises were not kept by Aam Aadmi Party government. They (AAP) are putting up a fake face and Arvind Kejriwal also knows that this time Aam Aadmi Party is losing," he told ANI.
Bharatiya Janata Party has raised many issues which they have claimed to be unfulfilled by AAP, including the cleaning of the Yamuna, improving education, healthcare and repairing potholes in roads.
Earlier AAP hit back with the allegations by releasing a satirical book titled 'Achievements of BJP in Delhi.'
Party's MP Sanjay Singh launched the book while addressing a press conference and said that they have released this book because BJP will not talk about its achievement on themselves.
Taking a potshot at the BJP-led Central government, Singh said that everything is "written" in this book about the promises which BJP had made, whether it is about giving permanent houses, doubling the MSPs for formers, strengthening the rupees or protecting the border.
AAP MP said, "Modi ji had made many promises after becoming the Prime Minister. He had said that by 15th August 2022, everyone will get a permanent house, farmers will get MSP, the rupee will be strengthened, the border will be protected... Regarding Delhi, he had said that permanent registry will be given to those living in slums. The BJP people could not tell what achievements have been made in those promises, we are releasing those achievements."
The Delhi Assembly elections are going to take place on February 5, with counting of votes scheduled for February 8.
