Nov 23, 2024
New Delhi [India], November 23 : CPI leader D Raja on Saturday said that the INDIA alliance in Jharkhand will be forming the government, noting that the people of Jharkhand were not convinced by the campaigning of the BJP in the state.
He noted that the issues of infiltration and corruption raised by the BJP leaders in Jharkhand could not convince the people. He claimed that the issue of infiltration was the responsibility of the Union Government and that they should be held responsible if there was any infiltration.
"These are all early trends. If these trends continue, then in Maharashtra, the BJP and its allies will win and form the government. As far as Jharkhand is concerned, JMM, Congress, and its allies are sure to form the government. Let us wait for the final outcome and the verdict of the people of Maharashtra and Jharkhand," the CPI leader said.
"The people of Jharkhand are not at all convinced by the campaign unleashed by the BJP and its leaders. The way they were raising the issue of infiltration and corruption could not convince the people of Jharkhand. If infiltration is the issue, then who should be held responsible other than the Union Government...They must be held responsible if there is infiltration," he added.
