Rajasthan: Hanumangarh Railway Station receives bomb threat letter, case registered against unknown individuals

Hanumangarh (Rajasthan) [India], October 2 : In shocking news, the Hanumangarh Railway Station received a bomb threat on October 1, in a letter found in a yellow envelope, prompting immediate action from local authorities, according to information provided by Hanumangarh SSP Pyarelal Meena.
The letter, which mentioned the terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed, was addressed to the Station Superintendent and claimed to be from an area commander named Mohammad Salim Ansari, hailing from Jammu and Kashmir.
The letter threatened to bomb multiple railway stations, including Shri Ganganagar, Hanumangarh, Kota, Bundi, Udaipur City, and Jaipur, on October 30, stating that revenge would be taken for the deaths of jihadists in Jammu and Kashmir.
In response to the threat, Additional SP Pyarelal, Inspector Santlal, and GRP SHO Mohanlal, along with their teams, conducted a thorough inspection of the Hanumangarh area and platforms. Their efforts yielded no suspicious items.
A case has been registered against unknown individuals at the GRP station. ASP Pyarelal Meena confirmed the incident, ensuring that security measures are in place to safeguard the public.
Authorities continue to monitor the situation closely as investigations are underway.
