Rajasthan: SOG arrests three people for distribution of fake certificates

Jaipur (Rajasthan) [India], July 5 : The Special Operations Group (SOG) in Rajasthan's Jaipur has arrested three persons related to the distribution of fake degree certificates.
The police have arrested OPJS University founder Jogendra Singh, owner of MK University and Sarita Kadwasara, who had served as the Treasurer and Chairman of OPJS University.
Speaking with ANI, SOG DIG Paris Deshmukh gave information about the case and said, "In the case of fake degrees, three important arrests have been made in which OPGS University founder Jogendra Singh and the university's former registrar Jitendra Yadav, who is currently the owner of MK University has been arrested. A woman named Sarita Kadwasra, who was the registrar and Chairperson of OPGS University has also been arrested. Jogendra Singh was about to open a university in Baran district."

Speaking further, Deshmukh said, "They have also distributed the degrees related to subjects that were not recognised by the agencies. They have distributed several degrees by breaking the rules of the government."
The SOG DIG further informed that about five persons have taken government jobs after getting fake degrees. "More employees working in government jobs with fake degrees can be caught."
The official further informed that OPGS University started in 2013, and a lot of fraud has been done by these people. "Many admissions have been given by these people, these people have prepared fake sports certificates, these people have placed their brokers everywhere," Deshmukh said.
"Despite not being recognized, they distributed degrees, many people are still doing jobs on the basis of fake degrees," Deshmukh added.
