Jashpur (Madhya Pradesh) [India], November 9 : Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Thursday took a jibe at Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel and said that every child in the state is saying "Satte pe Satta...kaun kara...Bhupesh Kakka."
Addressing a rally in poll-bound Chhattisgarh's Jashpur, Home Minister Shah said "Congress was attacking Ram Mandir, but when Narendra Modi became PM, he also performed the Bhoomi Poojan of Ram Mandir and is also going to inaugurate it on January 22. Rahul Baba used to ask us to tell him the date of Ram Mandir. I know you will not go for darshan. Indiscriminate religious conversion has taken place during the rule of the Congress government. I promise you that I will not allow any tribal to convert against his wishes."
"Every child in the state is heard saying, Satte pe saata, kaun kara Bhupesh kakka."
He further said that the Congress insulted Lord Mahadev by doing the scam in the name of 'Mahadev App".
"Modi ji sent Chandrayaan to the moon and the place where it landed was called Shiv Shakti. Lord Shiv was given respect but what the Congress government did, was that it made crores of rupees in the name of Mahadev App. Shame on you, at least you should have left Mahadev. When we sent the Corona relief, there was fraud in it, there was fraud in rice procurement, there was fraud in the housing schemes," he said.
He further pressed on that the Congress would be wiped off and the BJP would form the government.
"In Chhattisgarh, the first phase is over. Last night, I had a meeting in Raipur. Congress will be wiped off here. It is definite that in the coming days, the BJP is going to form the government here," he added.
Announcing his government's promises in the state, Home Minister Amit Shah said that we have said in our manifesto that all those who have BPL cards will be provided Ayodhya Darshan one by one.
"We have decided that our government will buy 21 quintals of paddy per acre from rice farmers at Rs 3100. Our government will do the work of giving Rs 12,000 to mothers and sisters every year. We will do the work of providing houses to the 18 lakh people who are left. We will give a gas cylinder to every woman for just Rs 500," Amit Shah said.
"If our government is formed, the money that Bhupesh Baghel's government has accumulated through corruption will be investigated and we will work to put them in jail," he added.
The first phase of polling for the Chhattisgarh Assembly concluded on Tuesday, and the second phase will be held on November 17. The counting of votes will take place on December 3 in all five poll-bound states.
