Several leaders arrived in Delhi to attend INDIA alliance Coordination Committee's first meeting

New Delhi [India], September 13 : Ahead of the first meeting of the Coordination Committee of the INDIA (Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance), several leaders arrived in the national capital to attend the meeting at the residence of the NCP chief Sharad Pawar.
So far, DMK MP TR Baalu, Samajwadi Party leader Jawed Ali Khan, Congress leader KC Venugopal, Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav, AAP leader Raghav Chadha, Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut, National Conference leader Omar Abdullah, PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti, Sanjay Jha, Indian National Congress spokesperson Gurdeep Sappal and General Secretary of the Communist Party of India D Raja arrived in Delhi to attend the meeting.
Meanwhile, when asked about the agenda of the meeting DMK MP TR Baalu said, "...We will also discuss seat sharing...Yes, 100 per cent (strategy for the special Parliamentary session)."
The first meeting of the Coordination Committee of the INDIA alliance will be held on Wednesday at Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar's residence in New Delhi.
Opposition's Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (INDIA) in its third meeting in Mumbai on September 1 announced a 14-member coordination committee.
The names of 13 members have been announced; however, the name of one person is yet to be revealed. The Opposition has yet to choose a convener.'
The 14-member committee includes KC Venugopal (Congress), Sharad Pawar (NCP), TR Baalu (DMK), Hemant Soren (JMM), Sanjay Raut (SS), Tejasvi Yadav (RJD), Abhishek Banerjee (TMC), Raghav Chaddha (AAP), Javed Ali Khan (SP), Lallan Singh (JD(U)), D Raja (CPI), Omar Abdullah (NC), Mehbooba Mufti (PDP) and one leader is from the CPI(M) that will give the name later.
The opposition parties, united under the banner of the Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (INDIA), concluded their third meeting in Maharashtra and adopted resolutions to collectively contest the upcoming 2024 Lok Sabha elections while announcing that seat-sharing arrangements would be finalized as soon as possible through a spirit of give-and-take.
