Washington DC [US], March 9 : Jenna Ortega is all praise for the pop star and actress Lady Gaga as they are set to share screen in the upcoming season of the superhit series 'Wednesday', reported The Hollywood Reporter.
At the premiere of her soon-to-be-released film 'Death of a Unicorn' at SXSW on Saturday, actress Jenna opened up about the experience of working with Lady Gaga in 'Wednesday' series.
While talking to the reporters at SXSW festival, Jenna praised the pop star and said that she is not only incredibly beautiful but talented as well, reported The Hollywood Reporter.
She said, "It's Gaga -- just her presence alone, her face alone. She's not only incredibly beautiful but incredibly talented, so I feel like she could stand in the corner and play a tree and she'd add something to a scene," as quoted by the outlet.
The season 2 of Wednesday is currently in production, according to The Hollywood Reporter. While the details of Lady Gaga's character are still under wraps, her involvement has already sent fans into a frenzy.
Lady Gaga's connection to the 'Wednesday' series goes beyond her upcoming appearance.
Last year, a remix of her song 'Bloody Mary' was featured over a dance sequence by Jenna Ortega, who stars as the titular Wednesday Addams.
In addition to Gaga, the second season will introduce a range of new faces, including Steve Buscemi, Billie Piper, Evie Templeton, Owen Painter, and Noah Taylor as series regulars, as per The Hollywood Reporter.
Reportedly, the show will also welcome several big names in guest roles, including Christopher Lloyd, Joanna Lumley, Thandiwe Newton, Frances O'Connor, Haley Joel Osment, Heather Matarazzo, and Joonas Suotamo.
The second season of 'Wednesday' will also see the return of its core cast, including Jenna Ortega as Wednesday, along with, Hunter Doohan, Emma Myers, Joy Sunday, Luis Guzman, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Fred Armisen, Isaac Ordonez, and Luyanda Unati Lewis-Nyawo, as the character of Wednesday continues her studies at Nevermore Academy.
