"SP, Congress spewing venom among Muslims..." SBSP Chief OP Rajbhar
Jun 03, 2024
Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) [India], June 3 : Taking potshots at the INDIA alliance, SBSP Chief and BJP ally OP Rajbhar on Monday said that the Samajwadi party and Congress are inciting resentment among Muslims against the BJP.
Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SBSP), an NDA partner headed by OP Rajbhar got one Lok Sabha constituency in its seat-sharing arrangement with the BJP in Uttar Pradesh.
Speaking in defence of the Bhartiya Janata party, referring to the exit poll predictions, Rajbhar told that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will take oath as Prime Minister for the third time on 8th June and all the members of India Alliance who are promising their victory will board the plane and leave for Dubai, Italy.
Training guns at the INDIA bloc, Rajbhar said "At the time of independence, 38% Muslims were in government jobs and the same Congress and SP government brought those Muslims to 1% and sowed the poison of hatred against the Bharatiya Janata Party in their hearts. They should ask SP, how many Muslims got jobs in Police, did they give any government jobs to them?"
"Prime Minister Narendra Modi is the person who is working for the Muslims and talking about giving them their rights. That is why Muslims are joining the Bharatiya Janata Party and supporting it at all places in the country. This is the reason why before June 4, I can say that on the 4th we will cross 400 and on the June 8, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will take oath as Prime Minister again.
Emphasizing BJP's efforts in pulling out poverty from the state, Rajbhar said, "The grains kept in the godowns were rotting during the Congress and SP government. The Bharatiya Janata Party opened the doors of its godowns and that grain reached the poor."
While the NDA bloc partners rejoiced at the exit poll results and predicted PM Modi becoming Prime Minister again, the opposition INDIA bloc leaders rubbished the outcomes saying that they will be forming the government at the Centre winning at least 295 seats.
Jharkhand Chief Minister Champai Soren on Sunday said that the INDIA bloc will win more than 10 seats in the state and more than 295 seats in the country.
"...INDIA alliance is winning more than 295 seats...there is no truth in exit polls...In Jharkhand also our situation is good. We will win more than 10 seats in Jharkhand," Soren said speaking to reporters on Sunday.
After the exit polls on Sunday predicted that Odisha is going to witness a neck-and-neck fight with the two-decade rule of Naveen Patnaik-led Biju Janata Dal facing a stiff challenge from BJP in the Assembly elections, party State president Manmohan Samal said that the credit goes to Prime Minister Modi as the majority of the people are attached to him.
"The credit goes to PM Modi...91-93 per cent people are attached to him...the public is convinced and they fought the elections on the behalf of BJP...The public of Odisha want to change and they will dethrone the BJD government...," Samal said speaking to ANI.
The BJP-led National Democratic Alliance is poised for a hat-trick win in Lok Sabha polls with a massive majority, exit polls predicted on Saturday and indicated that the ruling party at the Centre would improve its performance in several states ruled by other parties.
The exit polls predicted that the ruling BJP-led NDA is poised to improve its performance over its 2019 record when it won 352 seats. Two polls predicted the BJP also improving its numbers from the 303 seats it won in the 2019 Lok Sabha polls.
