He also shared a thread highlighting the developmental work carried out by the Modi government in Jharkhand over the past decade across various sectors.
The thread was posted by Vivek Singh, ex-OSD (Officer on Special Duty) to the Union Finance Minister and a native of Bokaro, Jharkhand.
He highlighted the following points in his thread: 'Historic Infrastructure Development; Empowering Jharkhand Through Financial Inclusion and Social Security; Delivering on Housing, Water, Health, and Sanitation; and Empowering Tribals and Farmers.'
PM Modi addressed a rally in Jharkhand's Singhbhum, where he attacked the Congress party saying the party does not value Jharkhand's tribal history or the aspirations of the tribal people along with Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) is openly looting the resources of the state.
"The Congress wants to give the entire credit for freedom to only one family. It is the BJP that gave recognition to Bhagwan Birsa Munda on his birth anniversary and started celebrating Jatiya Gaurav Diwas on that day," the Prime Minister said.
"My Adivasi brothers and sisters have a right to the jal, jungle, and zameen of Jharkhand. JMM and Congress consider it their property, which is why they are openly looting every resource of the state. JMM was involved in such a big liquor scam. Sand is being illegally mined and looted. Everyone from small leaders to the former CM, everyone is involved in it. After taking away the lands of Adivasis, they have their eyes on the lands of the Indian Army," he added.
Prime Minister Modi also addressed a roadshow in Ranchi. He was seated in a specially designed vehicle.
The elections in Jharkhand will be held in four phases: May 13, 20, 25, and June 1. The counting of votes is scheduled for June 4.
During the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) won 12 seats in Jharkhand, with the BJP winning 11. The Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) and Congress got one seat each.
