Telangana floods: CM Revanth Reddy meets Union Ministers Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Bandi Sanjay

Hyderabad (Telangana) [India], September 6 : Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy held a meeting with Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay on Friday, given the situation of floods in the state.
In a post on X, CM Reddy said that discussions were held on flood damage and relief measures during the meeting and announced Rs 10,000 to the affected families as immediate relief.

"Had a meeting with Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Bandi Sanjay at the Secretariat on flood damage and relief measures. Explained through a PowerPoint presentation & photo exhibition the dire situation in the villages of the flood-affected districts. The state government is distributing Rs 10,000 to the affected families as immediate relief. Officials explained the severe crop damage in the affected areas and also the condition of the damaged railway track in Mahabubabad district through the PowerPoint presentation," the Chief Minister mentioned in the post.
CM Reddy also said that the state has requested the central government to allocate adequate funds for immediate assistance and also for permanent renovation works.
Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka, Ministers Tummala Nageswara Rao, Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari, and other senior officials from various departments were present at the meeting.
The Union Ministers and Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, visited a photo exhibition at the Secretariat, showcasing the situation in the flood-affected areas.

Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan is on a two-day visit to flood-affected areas of Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana. Chouhan conducted an aerial survey of affected areas in Khammam in Telangana earlier in the day. Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Bandi Sanjay interacted with farmers of the flood-affected areas of the state.
