Telangana Minister KT Rama Rao asks officials to monitor progress of industries allotted land

Hyderabad (Telangana) [India], Aug 26 : Telangana IT, Industries and Municipal Administration Minister KT Rama Rao reviewed ongoing initiatives of Telangana State Industrial Infrastructure Corporation Ltd (TSIIC) in Hyderabad on Tuesday and instructed officials to monitor the progress of various industries that have been allotted land in the state to ensure they start production in a time-bound manner.
As per a release issued by the state government, the Minister asked the officials to issue show-cause notices to firms that have not started their operations even after being allocated land.
"Minister instructed the officials to prepare a detailed blue book with complete information of the industries in a sector-wise manner. He stated that this information will be useful for the government to come up with policies and programmes," said the release.
He also launched the e-SFC 360 view Digital Platform of Telangana State Financial Corporation and reviewed the works of State Financial Corporation and instructed the officials to expand their operations.
He said the government will provide complete support to the corporation.
The minister also reviewed the work of Hyderabad Pharma City.
Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar and HoDs of finance, industries, and MA&UD departments also participated in the meeting.
"The pharma city will be pollution-free and international standards would be maintained. It will have zero liquid discharge units, and arrangements will be made for the centralized treatment of the waste material from the pharma city. The Hyderabad Pharma City will be set up in a live, work, and learn model where the employees can reside on the same campus," Rao said.
He instructed officials to start skill training centers to train the local youth who will be given top priority during the recruitment by the companies in Hyderabad Pharma City.
