Indore (Madhya Pradesh) [India], September 28 : Congress Rajya Sabha MP Randeep Surjewala on Thursday took a jibe at Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led state government saying there should be an immersion of bad administration in Madhya Pradesh.
Surjewala said, “The way in which we wait for Ganpati Bappa, Madhya Pradesh is also waiting for happy days. It is hoped that Ganpati Bappa’s blessings remain and the immersion takes place. Ganpati Bappa may return but there should be an immersion of bad administration in Madhya Pradesh.”
Meanwhile, reacting to Ujjain minor rape incident, the congress leader, “Daughters are unsafe in Madhya Pradesh. Sometimes it seems like saving the daughter from the BJP has become a slogan. Why is Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan silent on the rape of a minor girl in Ujjain? The Chief Minister who keeps talking on everything does not hear the screams of the 12-year-old girl. The accused of the crime should have been punished at the crossroads within 24 hours, but it is not even known who committed the rape. Who are those criminal, CM Chouhan, you will have to answer on this.”
Besides, reacting to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate list for forthcoming assembly polls which include MPs (Member of Parliament) and union ministers, Surjewala said, “CM Chouhan and Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia hatched a conspiracy within the BJP and made a picture named ‘Hum To Dubenge Sanam Tumko Bhi Saath Leke Dubenge’. They fielded their opponents against their wishes in the upcoming polls.”
BJP leader Kailash Vijayvargiya also said that he did not feel like contesting elections. He (Vijayvargiya) says that he is a big leader and why should he contest assembly elections? The public will teach him a lesson by electing the congressmen from the seat, Surjewala said.
“When Union Minister Narendra Singh Tomar also gets angry at journalists after hearing the name of assembly elections. There is a race to run away among the BJP leaders,” he added.
Madhya Pradesh is scheduled to go for the Assembly polls later this year. Through the polls, the state will elect legislators from 230 Assembly constituencies.
