Three Bangladeshi nationals arrested in Tripura for illegally entering India

North Tripura (Tripura) [India], April 30 : Police apprehended three Bangladeshi nationals for illegally entering India in North Tripura's Dharmanagar area, an official said.
The arrests were made on April 29 during a routine mobile patrol conducted by inspectors from the Dharmanagar Police Station.
As per the police, upon noticing three individuals behaving suspiciously in Dharmanagar Bazar, one of the inspectors initiated a preliminary investigation. It was soon discovered that all three individuals were Bangladeshi nationals who had entered India without proper documentation, including passports.
The suspects, identified as Manju Ali, Rashel Ahmed, and Md Fahim, were promptly arrested at the scene by law enforcement officials. Subsequently, they were presented before the court for further legal proceedings, police said.
"Yesterday, while patrolling, one of the inspectors of the Dharmanagar Police station suspected three persons in Dharmanagar Bazar. After primary investigation, he came to know that all three boys were Bangladeshi and had entered India without a passport. All were arrested at that time. The names of the accused are Manju Ali, Rashel Ahmed, and Md Fahim. All were produced to court and the case is under investigation," Niladri Sarkar, Officer-in-Charge, Dharmanagar Police station, North Tripura, said.
The case is currently under investigation, police said.
