Tripura Governor Nallu takes part in Vaishakhi Buddha Purnima celebration in Agartala

West Tripura (Tripura) [India], May 23 : Tripura Governor Indra Sena Reddy Nallu took part in the Vaishakhi Buddha Purnima celebration at Venuban Buddha Vihara at Kunjaban in Agartala on Thursday.
This event marks the birth anniversary of Lord Buddha, and the governor joined thousands of pilgrims in prayer on this spiritual occasion.
In his address to the gathering, Governor Nallu emphasised the importance of embracing the philosophy and ideology of Gautam Buddha.
He highlighted that the teachings of Buddha advocate for a simple, honest, and peaceful way of living. "We should learn from the philosophy and ideology of Gautam Buddha to simplify our lives and be simple and honest too in easing our way of living," he said.
The governor reflected on the life of Gautam Buddha, acknowledging him as not only a great leader but also an emperor who chose a path of simplicity and peace. His message resonated with the audience, urging them to incorporate these timeless principles into their daily lives.
The event was graced by the presence of Dr. Vishal Kumar, the District Magistrate of West Tripura, and the head monk of Venuban Buddha Vihara, along with thousands of devoted pilgrims who came to partake in the celebrations and prayers.
