Hyderabad (Telangana) [India], November 8 : Bussa Krishna Raju, a farmer from Telangana, was an ardent fan of Donald Trump. His unwavering devotion led him to erect a 6-foot statue of the former US President and perform daily rituals, including milk, kumkum, and turmeric abhishekam.
Unfortunately, Krishna didn't live to see this day, having passed away from a cardiac arrest on October 11, 2020, while fasting and praying for Trump's recovery from COVID-19.
His friends, Subhash and Amba Lakshmi recall Krishna's unwavering dedication to Trump, saying he considered the former President his god.
Subhash from Konnea village while speaking to ANI said that his friend's soul can now rest in peace, as Trump has won the US presidential election.
"My friend Busa Krishna erected Trump's statue in our village and used to offer milk, kumkum, turmeric abhishekam and also would give harathi in the morning and evening. He used to say that his God is Trump. When Trump got Covid, he went on to fasting for 15 days and prayed for fast recovery by doing Pooja and giving Prasadam, However, he died," said Subhash.
In the 2024 US elections, Donald Trump secured a second term as president after winning crucial battleground states. This victory marks a significant comeback for Trump, who lost his re-election bid in 2020 to President Joe Biden.
Amba Lakshmi from Konnea village said, "I used to call Busa Krishna my brother. He was the first one to erect the Trump statue in the country. This lane is called the Trump lane. When Trump got Covid, he cried a lot and prayed for him but he died. Now that Trump has won his soul will rest in peace."
