Union Minister Piyush Goyal offers prayers to Lalbaugcha Raja, says felt immense peace and energy after 'divine darshan'

Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], September 15 : Union Minister Piyush Goyal paid obeisance to 'Lalbaugcha Raja' in Mumbai and expressed that he experienced a profound sense of tranquility and energy as soon as he offered his respects at Ganpati Bappa's feet.
Taking to his social media handle on X, Piyush Goyal posted, "Today I had the good fortune of having a divine darshan of 'Lalbaugcha Raja'. As soon as I bowed my head at the feet of Vighnaharta, I felt immense peace and energy in my mind. Ganpati Bappa Morya!"
The Union Minister, along with his family, offered prayers at Lalbaugcha Raja in Mumbai and said, "I prayed to Ganpati Bappa for the welfare of the entire world, including North Mumbai."
After his visit, Piyush Goyal spoke to the media and said, "The aura of Lalbaugcha Raja is something else. I am enjoying it a lot. Seeing the devotion of all the people, my devotion increases even more. Lord Ganesh teaches us a lot of things."
"Ganesh Utsav not only brings the society together, gives new learning to the society, but also connects our young generation with the culture and also makes them recognize our heritage," said Goyal.
Earlier on Saturday, Vice-President Jagdeep Dhankhar along with his wife Sudesh Dhankhar visited the Lalbaugcha Raja in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
Dhankhar and his wife offered prayers to Lord Ganesha at the famous Lalbaugcha Raja, which draws thousands of devotees every year during the Ganesh Chaturthi celebration.
The iconic Ganesh idol, housed at the Lalbaugcha Raja Sarvajanik Ganeshotsav Mandal, is a central attraction during this vibrant festival, drawing thousands of worshippers seeking blessings from the revered deity.
The first look of this year's Lalbaugcha Raja was unveiled on September 5.
The history of Lalbaugcha Raja is well-known, as it is the popular Ganesh idol of the Lalbaugcha Raja Sarvajanik Ganeshotsav Mandal, located at Putlabai Chawl, a place of worship founded in 1934.
The idol and its celebrations have been managed by the Kambli family, custodians of this revered image, for over 80 years.
Ganesh Chaturthi, a 10-day festival that began on September 6, will continue until Anantha Chaturdashi. This festival is also known as Vinayak Chaturthi or Vinayak Chavithi.
During Ganesh Chaturthi, Lord Ganesha is worshipped as the god of new beginnings and the remover of obstacles. Devotees across India and abroad celebrate Lord Ganesha's wisdom and intelligence.
