"United in our commitment to serve people of Bengal": Sukanta Majumdar on PM Modi meeting BJP MPs from West Bengal

New Delhi [India], July 29 : Union Minister and West Bengal BJP President Sukanta Majumdar on Monday said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi met his party's Members of Parliament from West Bengal and advised them to serve the people of Bengal and contribute to realizing the vision of Sonar Bangla.
According to the sources, PM Modi told MPs that the people of West Bengal have accepted the BJP and instructed them to stay active for the upcoming assembly elections in the state and serve the people of the state.
Union Minister and West Bengal BJP President Sukanta Majumdar also informed about this meeting through his official X handle.
In a social media post on X, Majumdar wrote, "Met PM Narendra Modi today along with the MPs from West Bengal. We are united in our commitment to serve the people of Bengal and contribute to realizing PM Modi's vision of Sonar Bangla."

PM Modi also held separate one-to-one meetings with party leaders Sukanta Majumdar and Suvendu Adhikari and discussed ways to further the reach out to the people of the state and make them aware of the central schemes.
PM Modi further applauded every worker of the party and reiterated to build a better future for West Bengal.
Taking it to a social media post on X, PM Modi wrote, "Met Shri Suvendu Adhikari Ji and Dr. Sukanta Majumdar Ji. We discussed ways to further spread our good governance agenda among the people. I applaud each and every @BJP4Bengal Karyakarta for their courage, passion and spirited fight against TMC misrule. In an another development, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the inaugural session of 'Journey Towards Viksit Bharat: A Post Union Budget 2024-25 Conference' at Vigyan Bhawan in Delhi on Tuesday at noon.
The conference is being organised by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and is aimed at presenting the outline for government's larger vision for growth and industry's role in this endeavour.
According to a statement by the Prime Minister's office, more than 1000 participants from industry, government, the diplomatic community, and think tanks among others will attend the conference in person while many will connect from the various CII centres across the country and overseas.
