Uttarakhand CM Dhami holds high-level review meeting to address damaged roads, dengue

Dehradun (Uttarakhand) [India], October 1 : Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, after returning from the Haryana election campaign, held a high-level review meeting with senior officials at the Chief Minister's Camp Office on Tuesday evening.
During the meeting, the CM gave detailed guidelines to senior officials on various subjects, including restoration of damaged roads and drinking water lines in the state under the campaign, prevention of dengue, and the Chardham Yatra.
The Chief Minister said that the rainy season is almost over, so the work of construction and repair of roads should be started on a war footing. Whatever connecting roads, including drinking water and electricity lines, have been damaged in the disaster during the monsoon, they should be repaired on priority.
The Chief Minister said that all the departments had various challenges during the monsoon, but now no negligence will be tolerated in this campaign. He said that wherever there has been damage due to the disaster, timely action should be taken for its reconstruction. The Chief Minister directed to make the roads of the state pothole-free.
The Chief Minister directed the Chief Secretary to fix the responsibility of every officer for this campaign.
While reviewing the Chardham Yatra, the Chief Minister directed the officials that after the monsoon, the number of devotees will increase again in the Dham Yatra till Diwali, in such a situation, all necessary preparations should be completed to avoid any kind of chaos.
The Chief Minister said that the Chardham Yatra is going well, and care should be taken that the pilgrims do not face any kind of inconvenience.
The Chief Minister, while reviewing the efforts being made to prevent dengue in the state, said that the increasing cases of dengue are worrying. To prevent this, everyone, including the health department, should work together and control it effectively. The Chief Minister directed to give special attention to cleanliness in urban and rural areas.
