Uttarakhand: CM Dhami inaugurates three-day Nayar Utsav in Pauri Garhwal, announces development plans for region

Pauri Garhwal (Uttarakhand) [India], October 25 : Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami inaugurated the three-day Nayar Utsav in Yamkeshwar assembly constituency of Pauri Garhwal district.

Chief Minister Dhami also made announcements related to the development of several areas in Pauri Garhwal district which includes the development of Devprayag-Satpuli motor road, Devprayag-Buakhal into National Highway, construction of 6 km of Nand river road, approval of mini stadium in Laxman Jhula area under Yamkeshwar.
According to an official release from the Chief Minister's Office (CMO), "Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Thursday reached the Gram Panchayat Kinsur Bagi of Assembly constituency Yamkeshwar and inaugurated the three-day Nayar Utsav-2024. On this occasion, he performed Ganga Puja and flagged off the rafting team."

"The Chief Minister made announcements related to the development of the area during the program. This includes the development of Devprayag-Satpuli motor road, Devprayag-Buakhal into National Highway, construction of 6 km of Nand river road, approval of mini stadium in Laxman Jhula area under Yamkeshwar, construction of Bean River double lane RCC bridge near Ganga Bhogpur on Pashulok motor road in Yamkeshwar area, asphalting of Jakhanikhal-Dhandoli motor road of Dwarikhal and establishment of degree college in Yamkeshwar area," said the release.

While addressing the public, the Chief Minister said that on one hand, the organization of Nayar Utsav-2024 will give recognition to this region on the world stage, while on the other hand, tourism activities in the region will develop commercially, economically and culturally. Through the three-day Nayar Utsav organized on the holy banks of Ganga and Nayar Sangam Sthal and Vyas Ji's Taposthali, tourism related infrastructure will be developed and expanded in the region. This kind of festival gives a new identity to the region.
The Chief Minister said that work is being done rapidly in every field by the state government for the overall development of the state.
CM Dhami said that this included construction of 100 feet high flag and park in Pauri, construction of Trishul Park, revival of the mythological Kedarnath-Badrinath walking route, work on Ganga Sanskriti Kendra on the banks of Alaknanda river in Srinagar, improvement work in Dhari Devi temple, old collectorate of Pauri as heritage building, beautification of Srinagar Gola Park, and the construction work of Singtali bridge that is set to start soon.
The Chief Minister further said that the Uniform Civil Code will soon be implemented in the state.
"It will be implemented in the state soon. Continuous work is being done to increase employment opportunities for the youth of the state. Special attention is also being given to self-employment along with employment. In the last 3 years, more than 17 thousand youth have been provided government jobs," said CM Dhami.
Adding further, he said, "After the implementation of strict anti-cheating law in the state, all recruitment examinations have been conducted with complete transparency."
