Uttarakhand: SSSC recruitment process transferred to SPSC

Dehradun (Uttarakhand) [India], September 9 : The Uttarakhand Cabinet on Friday passed a resolution regarding the transfer of the ongoing recruitment process for about 7000 posts by the Uttarakhand State Subordinate Services Selection Commission (SSSC) to the State Public Service Commission (SPSC).
The state Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that the government will take all possible steps to maintain the sanctity and dignity of the recruitment examinations.
"The state cabinet has passed a proposal to transfer the ongoing recruitment process for about 7000 posts by the Uttarakhand State Subordinate Services Selection Commission to the State Public Service Commission," the CM said while talking to ANI.
Moving forward in this direction, the Chief Minister issued a calendar of recruitment examinations and instructed the administration to start the recruitment process soon.
It is directed by the Chief Minister that along with the current advertised posts, all the departments of the state government should make available the list of vacant posts of direct recruitment to the Commission within a certain time frame so that the advance calendar of future examinations can also be issued.
All those examinations in which the result has been declared by SSSC by conducting any stage of examination, but the selection process has not been completed. The remaining proceedings of those examinations will be done by the Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission. All those examinations in which applications have been invited by the SSSC and no examination has been conducted;
In the event of publication of the release after going under the ambit of the Public Service Commission in them, the candidates will be exempted from the application fee.
"The state government is committed to the transparency and cleanliness of the recruitment process in government jobs," Dhami said.
"Giving jobs to the youth by conducting examinations at the earliest is the first priority of the government. To maintain the morale of the youth, the first priority of the government is to provide jobs to the youth by conducting examinations at the earliest through the SSSC. The government is determined to provide a healthy competitive environment to the young unemployed," Dhami added.
