Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar offers prayers at Hanumangarhi Temple in Ayodhya

Ayodhya (Uttar Pradesh) [India], May 10 : Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, along with his wife Sudesh Dhankhar on Friday offered prayers at the Hanumangarhi Temple in Ayodhya.
Earlier in the day, the Vice President and his wife offered prayers at the Ayodhya Ram temple.
In a post on X, he said, "I feel blessed to have seen Shri Ram Lala in the holy city of Ayodhya."
"I feel blessed to have seen Shri Ram Lala in the holy city of Ayodhya! My heart is overwhelmed. I am overwhelmed by getting a divine glimpse of the child form of Lord Shri Ram! I am energized. I feel blessed & seek bliss for the entire humanity. This magnificent temple is a living symbol of our glorious heritage of devotion and spirituality. Today, when our country is moving strongly towards becoming a developed nation, it is our prayer that the blessings of Lord Shri Ram may remain on this land of India. Hail Lord Siya Ram," Dhankhar said in a post on X.
The Vice President and his wife also had Darshan and Aarti of Maa Saryu.
"Blessed to have had Darshan & Aarti of Maa Saryu today. Since antiquity, this ancient river has held a significant place in our civilisational ethos- an integral thread in the rich cultural tapestry of Bharat. Grateful for this divine experience that instilled in me a deep sense of spirituality, sublimity and tranquillity," Dhankhar said in a post on X.
The 'Pran Pratishtha' of Shri Ram Lalla at Ayodhya's historic temple was held on January 22, with PM Modi performing the Vedic rituals, led by a group of priests.
The ceremony was attended by representatives of all major spiritual and religious sects in the country. People from all walks of life, including representatives of various tribal communities, attended the ceremony.
The Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Mandir is constructed in traditional Nagara style. Its length (east-west) is 380 feet; width is 250 feet and height is 161 feet; and is supported by a total of 392 pillars and 44 doors.
The pillars and walls of the temple showcase intricately sculpted depictions of Hindu deities, Gods, and Goddesses. In the main sanctum sanctorum on the ground floor, the childhood form of Bhagwan Shri Ram (the idol of Shri Ramlalla) has been placed.
Lakhs of devotees have been flocking to Ayodhya since the Pran Pratishtha ceremony of Lord Ram Lalla. The number of daily visitors to the Hanumangarhi Ram Temple has also been increasing rapidly.
According to the Ministry of Tourism data, more than 1.5 crore people have visited the Ayodhya Ram temple since the consecration ceremony.
