Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) [India], June 5 : In a significant political shift in Uttar Pradesh, after the Samajwadi Party won 37 seats while the Bhartiya Janata Party managed to clinch 33 seats, former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav called the victory as "people-loved victory of INDIA alliance."

It is also a victory of the trust of the Dalit-Bahujan community which, along with its backward, minority, tribal, and all the neglected, exploited and oppressed sections of the society, has fought shoulder to shoulder to save the Constitution which gives the right to equality, respect, self-respect, dignified life and reservation."
In the post, he further said that this is the victory of that strong alliance of backwards-dalit-minority-tribal, half the population and backwards among the upper castes in the form of PDA (Pichada, Dalit and Alpsankhyak), which is made even stronger by the people of every society and class with their cooperation and contribution."
He also called the victory of the 18th Lok Sabha elections the "Victory of women's dignity and women's safety, victory of the golden future of young women and boys, victory of new hopes of farmers, labourers, businessmen and traders, a collective victory of harmony-loving, inclusive and egalitarian positive people of the entire society."
He further said, "This is the victory of the continuous, tireless, fearless and honest efforts of an unbiased and honest media, this is a victory of the protectors of the Constitution who consider it as their life-giver, this is a victory for the courageous supporters of democracy, this is the victory of the poor, this is a victory for democracy, this is a victory of positive politics, this is the victory of people with true and good hearts."
Describing it as a victory of the INDIA alliance and the PDA strategy, Yadav said, "You (voters) have proved that no one's power nor anyone's deceit is greater than the power of the people. This time, it is the people who have won, not the rulers. May the public keep winning."
The former Uttar Pradesh CM expressed his gratitude, and said, "We will maintain and fulfil the trust you have placed in us with full responsibility. My heartfelt thanks for this - heartfelt thanks and infinite best wishes for the new positive times to come!"
