Vinayak Raut confident of securing hat-trick victory in Ratnagiri-Sindhudurg

Ratnagiri (Maharashtra) [India], May 1 : Vinayak Raut, the incumbent Member of Parliament from the Ratnagiri-Sindhudurg Lok Sabha seat and candidate of Uddhav Thakre's Shivesena, expressed his certainty in securing a hat-trick of victories in the upcoming elections.
Raut, a two-time MP from Ratnagiri-Sindhudurg, emphasized that those who departed from Shiv Sena were opportunists seeking power, while asserting that the public's support remains firmly with his party. Raut is up against Union Minister Narayan Rane.
In an interview to ANI, Raut confidently stated his expectation of winning by a significant margin, affirming the strength of the Shiv Sena alliance in Maharashtra.
Responding to Narayan Rane's claims of victory, Raut advised patience until the election results are announced.
He highlighted the unity and support within the Konkan region, symbolized by the torchbearer emblem of Uddhav Shiv Sena, despite attempts to undermine it. Raut credited collaborative efforts for developmental projects, including the Mumbai-Goa Highway and the establishment of a Government Medical College in Sindhudurg district.
Raising issue of inflation and unemployment, Raut criticized the influx of cashew imports from Africa and Tanzania, which adversely affected local cashew producers. He questioned the government's commitment to doubling farmers' income, citing a decline in cashew prices over the past five years. Raut said that five years ago the price of one kg Raw cashew nut was Rs 160. Today the price of that cashew has become Rs 95 per kg. Far from increasing income, people got ruined.
When questioned about his opponent Narayan Raut, he refrained from engaging in personal attacks, focusing instead on his dedication to serving the constituents of Ratnagiri-Sindhudurg.
Raut remains optimistic about his victory, citing overwhelming public support and the alliance's strength in securing a majority of seats in Maharashtra.
In conclusion, Raut dismissed concerns about the absence of the traditional Shiv Sena symbol, emphasizing the unity and resolve of the alliance in securing victory. He expressed confidence in his ability to continue serving the people of Ratnagiri-Sindhudurg with dedication and determination.
