Voters cast their votes in four phases for stable govt led by PM Modi: Anurag Thakur
May 16, 2024
Bilaspur (Himachal Pradesh) [India], May 16 : Union Minister and BJP's Lok Sabha candidate from Hamirpur constituency Anurag Singh Thakur on Thursday claimed that after the completion of four phases of the general election, it has become clear that the voters have cast their vote for a stable and honest government under Prime Minister Narendra Modi once again.
"If you go to any corner of the country, people are saying 'My Choice Modi'. After four phases, it has become clear that the public has cast their vote for a stable and honest government i.e. Modi government," Thakur said while addressing an election rally here.
He further said "Modi ji always considered Himachal as his second home and never thought small about Himachal, always gave it with an open heart, that is why we were successful in bringing big development projects for this small hill state also. Development is a continuous process for us. For example, during Modi ji's first term, we had widened the road from Bilaspur to Hamirpur at a cost of Rs 300 crore. Now we are getting it four-lane".
He claimed that for the third time, the country has put its seal of approval on "honest and strong" Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
" Today no one can question Modi ji's honesty and no one can go anywhere near his powerful work. In the last 10 years, while on one hand, the country has seen 25 crore people coming out of the poverty line, on the other hand, it has also seen more than 51 crore jobs being created. People saw how when inflation was rising all over the world, Modi ji kept it under control in India. My open challenge to Congress is to come on any platform on the issue of development. I will prove that what Congress could not do in 60 years, Modi ji has done in just 10 years," he said.
He said that the Opposition leaders "abused" PM Modi in every election but the public had taught them a lesson.
"Even in 2024, the public is going to give them a befitting reply. Today, no matter how much the opposition talks about vote jihad, love jihad and love for Pakistan, this country, which is governed by the Constitution of Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar, will elect the Bharatiya Janata Party," he said.
All four Lok Sabha seats and six legislative assembly constituencies in Himachal Pradesh will vote in the by-elections on June 1, in the final phase.
